THUSHARAGIRI WATERFALLS IN GOD'S OWN COUNTRY..KERALA..

Nature lover? Travel enthusiast? Love scenic beauty?
Well, I am for sure and so i ended up in this beautiful, mesmerizing, eye pleasing creation of mother nature in God's own country, Kerala!!!.. And OH MY GOD!!! I was stunned looking at the beautiful cascade. Thusharagiri waterfall it is.. Located in kozhikode(Calicut) District, Kerala, India.
Heaven on Earth, in a true sense, this has to be in everyone's bucket list. A place sooooooo good it enthralls everybody.What could be better than a long drive to this place. Started from Calicut and followed the Google maps which showed approx. 50 kms. and a 1.5 hour drive from my hotel. I chose the Ghat road (routes into the mountain area) instead of the usual highway road. Hypnotizing hills, greenery all around, birds chirping, narrow deserted roads, i knew already it is going to be a thrilling experience.
A few shops and a Beautiful entrance welcoming everybody i took the tickets and walked inside. after a 5 minutes walk i reached the waterfall. there are three waterfalls in total. One of which was a 1km long waterfall,the water cascading from the falls i just kept looking at it standing on the bridge constructed to watch this beauty.. Huge rocks, clouds touching the mountains, sat on the bench for hours admiring the natural beauty. and then it was time to say a hard goodbye to this place and started walking back towards the car and to top the cherry on the cake it started pouring heavily. What else could i ask for?
All i can say is you must must must must must give this place a visit and it will be totally worth it..
