ESSENTIALS WINTER SKIN CARE TIPS FOR SOFT AND GLOWING SKIN

HEY GUYS,



It is the season of replacing Ice creams and Cold coffees to Hot Coffee and hot chocolate milk,(THE  HARDEST THING FOR ME TO DO), skipping those pool visits and rather going for a spa and steam bath, not being able to get out of bed in the morning, wanting to snuggle inside the blanket for hours together and watching our favourite shows on NETFLIX but also the season of how dry and flaky our skin gets, badly chapped lips and cracked feet among other things. Yes, WINTER IT IS.
it comes with is own PROS and CONS.
Here are a few tips which you may find very useful for protecting  your entire body in the winters:-

FIRSTLY, DRINK LOADS OF WATER:-
Drinking water regularly will help in keeping your body hydrated and prevent dryness and flakiness of the skin.


DO YOGA:-
Yoga has endless benefits as we all know. It helps our body keep fit and fine all the time. Yoga in winters helps generate heat in our body and keep our body warm and thus, prevent us from catching cold in the winters.


PREVENT CHAPPED LIPS:-
Chapped lips is one of the most common problem in winters. In order to prevent this, apply some ghee onto your lips. This is the best way to make your lips soft and smooth.


SOFT HANDS AND FEET:-
It is very important to moisturise our skin especially in winters. Use coconut oil or even better sesame oil to moisturise your hands and feet at night before going to bed and cover it with gloves and socks respectively and sleep. Next day you will wake up with baby soft hands and feet. P.S. Don't use products which contain alcohol in it as alcohol can dry out your skin.


SHOWER ROUTINE:- 
During winters avoid using chemical soaps and go for mild herbal ones as chemical soaps can strip off the moisture from your skin and make it dry and flaky. Also, don't use hot water as it also causes dry skin. Use lukewarm water instead.

CLOTHING:-
Wear clothes made of cotton and wool which have a thick fabric to keep you warm in winters.


HOT OIL MASSAGES:-
Get regular hot oil massages done either in the salon or at home to avoid dandruff and also to protect the hair from becoming dry.


EAT HEALTHY:-
Include lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts and dry fruits in your diet as it will prevent your body from any infections or even catching cold.
